Meet Your Teacher

Tracee Stanley has been a student of yoga since 1995 and currently shares teachings that are sourced from over 18 years of study in the tradition of the Himalayan Masters, Sri Vidya and Tantra. She was first introduced to yoga by way of Kundalini yoga, and practiced with Yogi Bhajan in Los Angeles before being introduced to Hatha yoga. At the time, she was an executive in the film industry, and it was then that Tracee noticed her yoga practice provided the balance, clarity and perspective she needed to stay calm in the midst of chaos. 

Since 2004, Tracee’s focus has been on meditation, self-empowerment and self-inquiry, sankalpa (intention) and yoga nidra. Founder of Sankalpa Shakti Yoga School and a faculty member at Esalen, Tracee leads events, workshops and trainings across the globe.
