Commune Media Release & Waiver
By participating in a recorded workshop at Commune Topanga I hereby grant Commune Media, Inc. the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to record, photograph and audio record me, my likeness, name, identity or voice, alone or with others (collectively, the “Recordings”), and to use, reuse, distribute, publish, and republish the Recordings related to the above project in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the Internet, and for any purpose whatsoever. I agree that the Recordings may be editing at Commune Media’s sole discretion. I release and discharge Commune Media from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use or exploitation of the Recordings, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Commune Media, as well as the person(s) who captured the Recordings.
GUEST’S WAIVER, RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
Commune Topanga - 22722 Chamera Lane, Topanga, CA 90290 (“the premises”)
As a guest, you agree to this waiver in its entirety prior to participating in any activity while on the premises. By purchasing a ticket to an event on the premises, you are agreeing to relieve the premises, Chamera LLC, and any and all of its owners, all affiliated individuals and entities, now and forever of liability for personal injury, wrongful death and/or property damage.
The premises are located in a natural rural environment that has many hazards. Due to the carefully preserved natural environment within and around the property, there are many man-made and natural hazards such as steep cliffs, natural ravines, swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, water features, insects, poisonous snakes and spiders, loose rocks and boulders used ornamentally around the property, unlit paths and stairs, cobble stones, fireplace, etc. that requires extra vigilance and precaution.
In consideration of the permission granted by Chamera LLC and its owners to accept you as a guest, you hereby agree to release and hold harmless Chamera LLC, any and all of the owners of the premises, and all affiliated individuals and entities.
You waive and relinquish any and all claims, liability, cause of action, damages, or costs for wrongful death, personal injury and/or property damage that occurs on the premises.
You acknowledge that you have been fully advised of the risks and potential dangers incidental to the use of the premises and of engaging in the activity for which this release and registration is submitted, and voluntarily and knowingly assume the risks of use of the premises and of engaging in the activity on the premises.
Further, you agree to hold Chamera LLC, and any and all of the property owners, and all affiliated individuals and entities harmless in the event of any claim or action related to your activity at or related to the premises, including the payment of any attorney’s fees and court costs related to such claim or action.
