It’s amazing what happens when you work on keeping specific parts of your body still while moving others. In this series, Justine draws on her knowledge as a yoga and pilates teacher as well as her background in competitive figure skating to lead you through a stabilizing series for your core, spine, hips, hamstrings, and glutes.Ā 

In each of the three classes, you will practice moving with precision and control while embodying the principles of rhythm and flow. This is not about range of motion but, rather, honoring the integrity of the movement. Sometimes, it's the tiniest movements that end up having the biggest impact.

These are pilates mat classes, so no special equipment needed!

Meet Your Teacher

Justine is inspired by movement and the body. Her teaching and holistic approach to this work is anchored by her desire to share movement tools that facilitate a sense of ease inside and out. Justine strives to bring a tenderness and strength to the work, acknowledging that all movement – even the most dynamic, challenging exercises – can simultaneously also be nurturing and nourishing. Justine is the owner of Sapphire Pilates, an integrative movement and pilates studio in LA.Ā
