Meet Your Teachers
Schuyler Grant
Schuyler Grant has been practicing and studying yoga for more than 20 years. Her signature style integrates the breath-based flow of Ashtanga with the precision of Iyengar. She is a co-founder of Wanderlust and the founder of Kula Yoga Project, and is dedicated to bringing her students deep and transformative mind-body experiences.
Jeff Krasno
Jeff is CEO and Co-Founder at Commune, the author of Good Stress: The Health Benefits of Doing Hard Things, and creator of several Commune courses on sleep, stoicism, and longevity. He also hosts the Commune Podcast, where he interviews teachers, spiritual leaders, scientists, and doctors on topics such as food, health, philosophy, personal growth, and social wellbeing.
Dr. Aleksandra Gajer
Dr. Aleksandra Gajer is a physician and founder of The Gajer Practice, where she specializes in regenerative and cellular medicine — therapeutic peptides, hormone optimization, and the protocols that restore the body's innate capacity to heal and renew.
Trained at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and in emergency medicine at The George Washington University, she spent years on the front lines of the ER before a quiet realization reshaped her path: by the time patients arrived, most of what she was treating had been decades in the making. She left to build something different — a practice devoted to intervening at the cellular level, long before disease takes hold.
A longtime meditator whose own healing journey through Lyme disease deepened her reverence for the mind-body connection, Dr. Gajer brings both clinical rigor and personal humility to her work. She is a contributing author to Triumphs of Transformation and teaches clinicians nationwide in peptide therapy and body recomposition.
Her tagline — The Science of Health, The Art of Transformation — reflects her belief that true wellness is both a biological process and a deeply personal awakening.
Our Playground
At the end of the end of the end of a road, perched atop a remote valley of the Santa Monica mountains, sits Topanga Commune: 10 acres of meandering paths, oak trees, palms and gardens abutting state land. You won’t believe you are less than an hour from the heart of LA.
The property has a main house, a guest house, four tea house private rooms, three sweet A-Frame cabins, and plenty of space for camping. Sleep on organic mattresses and linens and enjoy the bounty of LA’s best local farmers for every home-cooked meal.
The property also has a sauna, hot tub, plunge pool, basketball, badminton, and a plethora of hammocks.
Songwriter Neil Young lived on this property for many years and was deeply inspired by this magical spot. If there is anywhere in the world to find “a heart of gold,” it may be here.
“I want to live, I want to give. I've been a miner for a heart of gold. It's these expressions I never give that keep me searching for a heart of gold.”
~ Neil Young
