Wednesdays from May 13 - June 17 (6 weeks)
11am-12:45pm Pacific Time
Intermediate-advanced level
Patient, nuanced, intelligent preparation — in Kula-style sequencing there is no rush, and every part of the body will be prepared and willing. An arm balance should evolve organically, never forced or labored.
Each of these 6 classes will tease out a different arm balance, yet they will also be reminders that the yoga practice is not about any particular destination, but the pleasure of the journey. (And you also might stick some dope arm balances in the process… or at the very least develop a keen understanding of how these arm balances could someday come to fruition.)
Each class will be 75 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A. Bring your postural questions, and all you yoga teachers out there feel free to bring sequencing questions, too.
WHAT YOU'LL GET:
- 6 live Zoom sessions (75-minute class + 30-minute Q&A)
- Lifetime access to class recordings on onecommune.com and in the Commune app
This intermediate-advanced class series is geared toward practitioners with at least a year of dedicated vinyasa-style practice yoga as well as teachers and teachers-in-training from all traditions. It is not intended for anyone working with an acute injury.
