Unless you are incapable of love (and that sounds rather bleak) then at some point in your life, you will experience a deep loss. And it’s easy to get stuck in the cycle of suffering that grief brings. But as grief expert David Kessler says in this episode: The pain of grief is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Today's show features David in conversation with Liz Hernandez, an Emmy-nominated television personality and journalist. While her career was taking off, Liz was also dealing with the cognitive decline of her mother and a tenuous relationship. She began working with David who helped her find purpose in her pain.

This is part one in a two-part series on Grief featuring David Kessler. Commune recently launched a course with David called Help for the Hurting Heart. Join the course free for 5 days: onecommune.com/grief
